A Revamped Boston

An abandoned subway-turned-theatre...an upside down city...a vegetable garden-in-a-wall -- those were the winning ideas in the ShiftBoston contest, an international competition (spearheaded by Kim Polquin and Dunja Vujinic) challenging folks to redesign Boston. A panel of architecutural experts sussed out the best and the brightest creations in front of an audience of some 300 design fanatics at the Institute of Contemporary Art. Boldfacers submitted an entry (and lost), but there's always next year...
